Frogs, Flowers, and Family: Springtime at Good Bear

Spring has arrived at Good Bear Ranch, and the whole property is waking up with new life. Our pond is alive with the cheerful ribbeting of frogs, and the pastures are dotted with elk enjoying the fresh green grass. Everywhere you turn, flowers are blooming — delicate fawn lilies and bursts of color from so many more.

Our dogs couldn’t be happier, racing through the open fields and chasing each other under the warm sun. In the evenings, we gather for family dinners filled with laughter and stories, often followed by sunset hikes across the hills with a voracious toddler leading the way, full of energy and curiosity.

When we venture into town, we love spending time at Geiser Pollman Park in Baker City and treating ourselves to a delicious meal at The Cabyn, a local favorite.

Spring is truly a magical time at Good Bear Ranch — a perfect blend of natural beauty, family moments, and small-town charm. We can’t wait to share it with you.
